Blog Response 13
The idea is interesting, but also cool. I really don't think I would be able to do this due to the fact it seems fairly mundane. I like how some of his shots are nearly black and white and others are full of color.

Goldsworthy Shot

I blurred the background to make the rocks stand out more and I got rid of the little twig in the bottom right.
Nature Inside

I used the clone stamp to get rid of the reflection on me and the shiny cans on the black tile. And I brightened it a little.
Natural Water

I blurred out the weeds directly in front of me and adjusted the brightness and contrast.

I did the three movie worksheets along with the Comp. Tech, Student Comp. Tech, and the Portraits. I still have to do the nature assignment. I did an assignment sheet for all of my photo assignments that I have completed, and I did write 3 sentences for all of the blog responses. I used my time fairly well; however, some days I would wait to go out and take pictures and waste class-time. Hopefully, during the next 6 weeks, I won't procrastinate and wait until the last couple of days to get an assignment done. I'll try to get the nature assignment done this week and receive a good mid-term grade.

My favorite picture was the one that I assume took place at Thanksgiving because of the turkey. I liked this one because the dad had switched the baby and the turkey accidentally because he was watching football. I don't think I could relate to anything like this because it doesn't happen in my household very often.

I don't think the photographer should be able to change the photos without the girl's permission. I don't really understand why they edited them as much as they did. If they wanted to edit the pictures, they need to work on doing that secretly.

1.) I don't know where exactly I would want to photograph, but I would want to go somewhere out of the country.
2.) If I won the lottery, I would want to go to Japan just because I've seen cool pictures from there.
3.) If I could own a photobook of any place, it would be of Japan, because I probably won't win the lottery.

The image that stuck in my head the most was the one with the guy holding the sign that said he was abducted by aliens and he missed dinner.
I think the fact that the photos capture what they do and how they live on the streets, makes them good.
I would enjoy documenting car meets around Oregon, and eventually around the U.S. Something like videography would be fun to do.
Photographing this issue would show what it's actually like on the streets and help spread awareness of the problem.

1.) Rich and famous people tend to be busier than others. Their agents might be overprotective of them and not want them to expose themselves they way some of the people do.
2.) Mr. Corbijn's style is very different than most other photographers. It seems like he takes the subjects out of their comfort zone.
3.) I think the celebrity has some say in what goes on, but Corbijn wants the celebrity to be uncomfortable.
